La Ciotat Wrap Skirt

In the middle of august I sewed a wrap skirt. I used cotton that I got in Home Focus on sale. The shop has changed ownership and they won't be stocking much sewing stuff from now on. It's a pity as I have one locally and it was handy to pop down and get something if I ran out. They will be keeping their thread stand which is good as I often get thread there. 

I thought the fabric would work well with the Sewing Therapy La Ciotat skirt. I liked the look of this wrap skirt because the waist has a flat panel and then the skirt gathers out below that. I thought it might look nicer when worn. It's a lovely pattern and quick to make up. I haven't really worn it yet as I finsihed it at the end of the summer. But this year I have plans to wear it. Plus I'm hoping to make some tops that will go with it.
