Finished Winter Doodle Jumper

At the start of february I finished my winter doodle jumper. You can read more about the project and how I picked the colours in this post. The pattern is the winter doodle sweater by Pacific Knit Co. The doodle system really helps to make designing your own colourwork projects much simpler. I don't think I'd have been able to calculate a whole jumper myself and have it turn out so well. The yarn is Drops Karisma a DK weight superwash by Drops design that I've used for colourwork many times.

As I said in the post I knit the sleeves and then finished off the body so I would have enough yarn. I used a sewn bind off for the ribbing and it took a while but I think it looks really well. When I tried it on after the yoke I thought it might have been a little large but it ended up fitting perfectly. I knitted size 8 and used 3.5mm needles for the main body and 3mm for the ribbing. I'm really pleased with it. It's nice to finally use up this yarn and I think the colours work well. I'll definitely enjoy wearing it during the festive season

I always find it exciting to finish up a big time consuming project like this. There are so many possibilities for what to make next. I have started something new but that's for another post.
