Fabric Order From Driessen Stoffen
At the end of April I did a fabric order from Driessen Stoffen an online fabric shop based in The Netherlands. The website has english translation which can be a little patchy but I know some basics in Dutch so I found it fine. They have a really great selection of fabrics with lots of dress making fabrics like jersey, cottons and viscose.
Before I ordered I went through all my patterns and decided what I wanted to make. I used Threadloop to help with this. Threadloop is a sewing organisation app and I've been finding it very useful. I added all the patterns I own to it and their database makes them searchable. I was also able to add notes about what size I would make and the fabric requirements. When I had my list of patterns I tried to chose fabrics that suited and I was able to order just the fabric amount that I needed. I chose colours that would suit what I already own so that I will wear what I make.
Below I'll put photos of what I got. I got some plain pink viscoses, printed viscose, stone washed cotton, linen viscose, cotton jersey, cotton poplin and some sweatshirt fabric. The quality is very good. The order process was very smooth and delivery went well. I will definitely order from them again. Future posts will feature what I made using them all.
